Then she got used to it and started dancing along to the music! Some times though she will talk about loud noises for days and days and days. They bother her that much.
The parade was a Disney theme and Anya's favorite float was The Little Mermaid. She also liked the balloons on the Up! float which was our babysitter's class.
We all love books and reading in this house, Anya maybe the most of us. This is a great book about sharing. We especially love that it also gives that message that it is okay not to share. It is her choice. We will never force her to share but do encourage her to share to make friends, be generous, etc. We had a playdate today and she shrieked, "THAT'S ANYA'S" a few times but then also brought her friend some toys or pretzels or whatever.
Here she is in training to become a listmaker like Mama. I think this was a list and she drew all over it while chanting "list list list".
We won't be able to do these with the colder weather, but for awhile Steve was doing stroller naps on the weekend while I got groceries + a short trip to a coffee shop to knit. It was a nice getaway for me & he listened to podcasts + got a nice walk in too. This day happened to be a super long nap, she was wiped out.
Just waking up. Cuddles with Daddy....
...then wandering around like a zombie for a few minutes until she was all the way awake.
