Anya's modeling a pumpkin hat that I knit for her this week. It was great to get back into a crafty mode and this was a perfect small project. Granted, it took a week to finish because I have to grab bits of time here & there, but I'm still proud to have gotten it done by Halloween!

For being new parents, we are bad at taking enough photos. It seems like I'm always nursing, trying to nap, or get some laundry done. How does such a tiny creature make so many dirty clothes? That's one of the great mysteries of life I guess.
I wish we had better photos because she is growing up so fast - already 7 lb. 6.3 ounces! I'm going to try to take a few pics or videos a day and post them as I get free time. hahahahahaha, what is this free time concept?

Why is it that Anya is calmest when other people are holding her? 
I guess she thinks of mama as food so she gets too excited when I'm holding her. I don't get to hold a peaceful Anya very often, except for right after she's done nursing when we both tend to doze off a bit.
"Hey there! I heard you all wanted more baby photos. I know, I know - I'm adorable. You can't get enough of this beautiful face."
"I have two moods right now. Peaceful and sweet....."
"....or flipping out. I enjoy confusing my parents by switching between the two with no apparent reason."
"But then I make a sweet face like this so they fall in love with me over & over again. I love mama's sling and getting held close." 
"Here's my cute face after my first bath. This is seconds before I surprised mama with a poopy present all down the front of her shirt. The key to being a baby is to never let mama & daddy know what is going to happen next!"
